Well over a decade Yuko has been one of the most established and widely recognized classical piano teacher and piano performance coach in New York City. Yuko’s remarkable track record of her students’ outstanding achievements and nationwide success has led to an exclusive “by referral only” based network that includes many dozens of selected private students throughout Manhattan and brings her students to regularly winning major International Music Competitions, passing the Royal School Of Music (ABRSM) exams with distinction, and concert performances in some of the world’s most significant venues, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Yuko holds the Music Educator Of The Year Award from 2011 to 2015, The Distinguished Pedagogy Award for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 (IMAS) and the Certificate Of Excellence from the Golden Key International Music Festival.

Yuko is also Founder and Owner of Crescendo Music Academy in Jersey City and Founder and Artistic Director of the International Music Organization New York (IMONY), a year by year growing non-profit organization to support talented musicians from around the world.
In addition to her skills on stage, Yuko is a powerful figure behind the curtains, holding the official Junior High and High School Teaching Certificate from The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education as well as trained in the Dalcroze method of music education. Yuko teaches students to not only learn the written notes and play the music, but focuses on creating color within the musical pieces.
